In Närke, we have a proud tradition of producing/red pigment. At the Dylta estate, red pigment has been produced for over 300 years..! They actually started earlier than the Falu copper mine.
The red pigment produced here was quite bright light red, and can be imitated with Falu's light red without linseed oil.
