About Ovolin
Born at the foot of Kilsbergen about 25 years ago
Sustainability in focus
In a region shaped by iron processing and the utilization of nature's resources, the company Ovolin was born. Its product, ready-made egg oil tempera in a jar, then became a tough and environmentally friendly upstart to the prevailing plastic paint. Leif Eriksson, who has run the company since the early 1990s and from 2007 together with Carin Moberg, have both taken a step back and handed over the business to Maths Anhammer.
Joy, inspiration & cultural history
We are however happy to have both Leif and Carin remaining in the company as employees. Our ambition is to continue to convey a healthy environmentally friendly paint that can convey both joy, inspiration, and a piece of cultural history. We break this on site with genuine pigments in a traditional manner. In addition to egg oil tempera, we want to be a complete building preservation store with traditional sustainable materials such as linseed oil paint, color pigments, fittings, tars, oils, linseed soap, and a variety of personal interior. We are also in the process of building a larger section with reused building preservation materials.
