Falu Rödfärg's slurry paint is best suited for untreated and unplaned wood, as well as repainting surfaces previously painted with slurry paint. Slurry paint is an extremely easy-to-work-with paint type and is one of Sweden's oldest and most used. This type of paint is therefore excellent for more traditional houses.

Painting with Falu Rödfärg

Falu Rödfärg has a coverage of about 3m² / liter, and may require two coats for new painting for optimal results. The paint has a drying time of about 1 day, but is tack-free after just a few hours. Repainting generally requires only one coat. Painting is best done under weather conditions where the surface to be painted is not heavily sun-warmed or wet.
