Traditional red mud paint for outdoor use.
Falu Rödfärg's mud paint is best suited for untreated and unplaned wood, as well as repainting surfaces previously painted with mud paint. Mud paint is an extremely easy-to-work type of paint that is one of Sweden's oldest and most used. This type of color is therefore perfectly suited to more traditional houses.
To paint with Falu Rödfärg
Falu Rödfärg has a coverage of approx. 3m² / litre, and may require two coats when repainting for optimal results. The paint has a drying time of about 1 day, but is sticky-free only after an hour or so. Repainting generally requires only one coat of paint. Painting takes place optimally under weather conditions that do not mean that the surface to be painted is strongly heated by the sun or wet.
A classic Swedish color that suits most houses.
