Golden Impregnation against Moisture and Rot
Top quality tar burned in a tar valley. This golden-colored tar is an excellent way to extend the life of various wooden surfaces, as it effectively preserves the wood and protects against moisture and rot. Examples of areas of use are impregnation of fences, log houses, wooden facades and boat hulls.
Usually, two strokes on a dry surface are required to achieve optimal results. Generally, 1L of tar is enough for approx. 2-4 square meters for the first coating, and for 4-8 square meters for the second. The tar is advantageously applied in warm climates, as it becomes easier to spread and more effectively penetrates the surface. Drying time can vary between two and seven days depending on the surface.
Wood tar can also be used to mix your own tar paint or rosewood mahogany .
