Dalbrand Wood Tar

Tar of the highest quality burned in a tar kiln. This golden-colored tar is an excellent way to extend the lifespan of various wooden surfaces, as it effectively preserves the wood and protects against moisture and rot. Examples of uses include impregnation of fences, log houses, wooden facades, and boat hulls.

Usually, two coats are required on a dry surface to achieve optimal results. Generally, 1L of tar is sufficient for about 2-4 square meters for the first coat, and 4-8 square meters for the second. The tar is best applied under warm climatic conditions, as it becomes easier to spread and penetrates the surface more effectively. Drying time can vary between two and seven days depending on the surface.

Wood tar can also be used to mix your own tar paint or roslagsmahogny.
