Nästgård wool blanket

Warm plaid woven in one hundred percent organic lamb's wool. The weaving inverts the pattern and colors so that the plaid is reversible. The woolen throw is inspired by Gysinge's wallpaper Nästgårds, adapted by designer Kerstin Landström. The pattern is typical of the second half of the 19th century with an elegant monochromatic medallion pattern.

The story behind our fine original Nästgårds wallpaper begins with a piece of wallpaper we found hidden under several layers of cardboard and wallpaper. The wallpaper layers were carefully removed one by one and finally there was a piece large enough to be able to see the entire pattern image. The wallpaper pattern was drawn after its original and newly printed in three color schemes, blue, red and brown on a beige background.

Wool is naturally dirt-repellent and often does not need to be washed. Instead, air the blanket continuously. If you still want to wash it, hand wash at 30 degrees with a mild detergent. 130x170cm + fringes. Blue or red.
