Carbon black grey
Linseed oil paint for Timeless Protection & Beauty
A cool gray color with a blue tinge, made from mainly carbon black and white pigment. Common as a carpentry paint above all during the 19th century, then usually broken with white. Black smoke gray can sometimes occur in 100%, for example as a threshold color, but it is otherwise mostly used as a breaking color and is rarely painted unbroken.
