Shoemaker's lamp with lift

The elevator lamp is an advanced cobbler's lamp, intended to hang above a table or workplace. The lamp was common both as a kitchen lamp and as an office fixture and was also used in other workplaces requiring more concentrated light. The elevator device with its easy-rolling porcelain wheels makes the lamp adjustable in height.

A specially made brass cord strain relief relieves the cord so that it does not have to carry the entire weight of the fixture. The deep, white glass shade provides a combination of general light and concentrated light, without glare. Our lamp is a copy of an original fixture. The shade holder, with its special rope rod decoration in relief, is made by hand to match the high quality of the original lamp.

The lamp is supplied with a one and a half meter three-prong twisted, black textile cord. All sheet metal details are made of solid, polished, unlacquered brass. Length 88-150cm, shade diameter 25cm.

The lampshade is made of opal glass and replacement shades are available.
