Art Nouveau green is a color that was common both exterior and interior from the 1890s until the 1930s.

On the outside it is often seen on window frames, on the inside it is a very common color on the fixed kitchen interior and in the kitchen pantry and hall as a wall color. Art nouveau green is therefore intimately associated with, above all, pearlboard panels, but it often appeared on furniture as well. As a colour, it can be described as a light chrome oxide green, but yellower and at the same time a slightly clearer green. in interior painting at the beginning of the 20th century, it is often combined with Jugend beige on linings, windows and doors, but also a darker colour, about 7-15% unburnt umber is a common contrasting color to Jugend green.
