Mud color

In Närke, we have a proud tradition of red dye burning/production.
At the estate Dylta bruk, Rödfärg has been produced for over 300 years..! They actually started earlier than the Falu copper mine.
The red pigment produced here was quite a brilliant light red, and can be imitated with Falun's light red without linseed oil.

At Ovolin we sell Falu red color and Gysinge mud color. Both exceptional choices when painting facades and other wooden surfaces.
